The audience thought a goal was coming when Olavs Eliass got free with Jorginho Brodel in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Lejalde notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Iecēni's Genaro Ponciano. Genaro Ponciano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, JULM C.F.'s goalkeeper Jorginho Brodel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olavs Eliass. Helari Heinaru made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by 赵文林. If Tiburcio Lejalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Iecēni players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. JULM C.F. were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viesturs Pilāns stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute of the game Helari Heinaru made a throw-in which 邱卫荣 played forward. FC Iecēni's Genaro Ponciano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Iecēni from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viesturs Pilāns in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorginho Brodel saved JULM C.F. from getting behind. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Viesturs Pilāns sped through JULM C.F.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorginho Brodel. Ben Kiesel scored 1-4 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Ponciano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorginho Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavs Eliass in the 72nd minute of the match. Olavs Eliass scored 2-4 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorginho Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, Hermanis Tiltnieks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Iecēni's zone, Ma Tian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Ponciano came out of the goal and Ma Tian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Tiburcio Lejalde could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Genaro Ponciano however easily saved by the left post. Genaro Ponciano made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Tiburcio Lejalde sent off a good shot on target. When Şanver Enginer fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Iecēni's protests and gave Şanver Enginer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Şanver Enginer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
