In the 12th minute Jindřich Benc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Ööpik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Armageddon's goal looked a bit too open when Jindřich Benc came free, but Marko Ööpik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Jindřich Benc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Ööpik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jindřich Benc in the 25th minute of play forced Armageddon's goalkeeper Marko Ööpik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Jindřich Benc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Ööpik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marko Ööpik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vilhena in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 minutes of play, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Jindřich Benc made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marko Ööpik was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marko Ööpik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jindřich Benc in the 40th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, one of FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI booed when Armageddon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Gentenaar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Giancarlo Antognoni in the 84th minute of play forced FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI defense, Raik İhsan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Schmeichel. The FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Schmeichel should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, Armageddon could leave the field as winners, despite FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI having more of the ball for most of the match.
