In the 5thth minute of the game Jindřich Benc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Iecēni's Genaro Ponciano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Jindřich Benc looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Iecēni's Hermanis Tiltnieks quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Qi Bin Bing, made in the 8th minute of the game. Peter Schmeichel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viesturs Pilāns's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eidvilas Markūnas in the 18th minute of play forced FC Iecēni's goalkeeper Genaro Ponciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the game Qi Bin Bing made a throw-in which Guo Yu Cheng played forward. Guo Yu Cheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guo Yu Cheng got free with Genaro Ponciano in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Genaro Ponciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jindřich Benc in the 28th minute of the match. Genaro Ponciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jindřich Benc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes FC Iecēni got a freekick which was hit by Viktors Behmans. Olavs Eliass sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Genaro Ponciano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 36 minutes into the match, FC Iecēni's goal looked a bit too open when Guo Yu Cheng came free, but Genaro Ponciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viesturs Pilāns in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gints Lielgalvis was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Iecēni's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Olavs Eliass got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Peter Schmeichel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jindřich Benc made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Eidvilas Markūnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Ponciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Jindřich Benc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Ponciano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Iecēni's goalkeeper Genaro Ponciano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Genaro Ponciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eidvilas Markūnas in the 61st minute of play. Viesturs Pilāns blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Schmeichel having to make a save. FC Iecēni made a substitution. Rainers Ekerts replaced Viktors Behmans. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jindřich Benc in the 69th minute of play forced FC Iecēni's goalkeeper Genaro Ponciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Viesturs Pilāns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Peter Schmeichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, FC Iecēni's goal looked a bit too open when Fahrettin Kirtekin came free, but Genaro Ponciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Iecēni booed when FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guo Yu Cheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jindřich Benc in the 80th minute of play forced FC Iecēni's goalkeeper Genaro Ponciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Jindřich Benc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genaro Ponciano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, FC Iecēni's goal looked a bit too open when Jindřich Benc came free, but Genaro Ponciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şanver Enginer kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Genaro Ponciano came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Guo Yu Cheng. But to his dismay, Guo Yu Cheng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
