Zantos IF
Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundo Espiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zantos IF's Sergiu Teodoreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Oskar Stor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zantos IF's Per-Oskar Stor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Urbain Richard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 17 played minutes Sergiu Teodoreanu rounded Honduras's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After some careless play in the Zantos IF defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per-Oskar Stor. The Zantos IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per-Oskar Stor should have stopped the shot. After 27 played minutes Urbain Richard rounded Honduras's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Zantos IF's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Oskar Stor came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Per-Oskar Stor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes Zantos IF got a freekick which was hit by Urbain Richard. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urbain Richard to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Per-Oskar Stor in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute, Valentín Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Teodoreanu in the 57th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per-Oskar Stor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sergiu Teodoreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbain Richard, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Urbain Richard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the game, Ivan Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zantos IF the free kick. In the 74th minute, one of Honduras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Honduras. The referee gave Zantos IF a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sven-Olof Gerdberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. 4-1. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zantos IF's goalie prevented a goal. Timmy Glad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Zantos IF's Per-Oskar Stor. Per-Oskar Stor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Zantos IF getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Urbain Richard hit a great ball. A hard shot 94 in the game by Edmundo Espiga from a close distance when the talented Per-Oskar Stor managed to make a qualified save. Zantos IF's players were relieved. After 96 played minutes Zantos IF got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Danielsson. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Edmundo Espiga took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Per-Oskar Stor to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew the final whistle, Zantos IF could leave the field as winners, despite Honduras having more of the ball for most of the match.
