Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. In a very dangerous position, a player in KANONIERZY fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! KANONIERZY:s Christian Abbiati showed great skill when he stopped Luz Tejedor:s penalty. 10 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gösta Söderberg. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Abbiati. Christian Abbiati dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 15 minutes in the game Eduardo Beltran did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marian Sobania. 17 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati. Christian Abbiati was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by KANONIERZY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Eliseo Mina managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 24 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Abbiati made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Ferfecki in the 27th minute of play. Eliseo Mina struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Christian Abbiati didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Christian Abbiati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KANONIERZY's goalkeeper Christian Abbiati, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Ali Hamza Hanefi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Ali Hamza Hanefi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Ali Hamza Hanefi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gösta Söderberg in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Hamza Hanefi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Anthony Alvarado hit a great ball. After 51 played minutes, KANONIERZY's Ali Hamza Hanefi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rolando Noboa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KANONIERZY reached it. In the 52nd match minute, KANONIERZY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Beltran to maneuver through the defense. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KANONIERZY's goalie prevented a goal. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christian Abbiati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Ali Hamza Hanefi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ime Mavros in the 67th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Hamza Hanefi, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The supporters of Peru booed when KANONIERZY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Zgonina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Zbyszek Ferfecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Ali Hamza Hanefi kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Christian Abbiati came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Milagros Fraga. But to his dismay, Milagros Fraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Ferfecki, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute Gösta Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Hamza Hanefi in the 96th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The KANONIERZY supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
