Santos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Troels Gutgesel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dante Lacasa. Mexico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Santos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Mancebo's late challenge caught a Outback Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lautaro Mancebo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Mancebo to maneuver through the defense. Santos Santos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. 93 minutes into the game, Ingemar Fristedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Outback Fc.
