In the 4th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocco Owen to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Kyle Davies made a precise shot to the right of Roger Strömberg. Fågelfors IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Alexander Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 played minutes Fågelfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Isaksson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanley Wallace in the 31st minute of play forced Fågelfors IF's goalkeeper Roger Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Roger Strömberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Davies in the 40th minute of the match. Bengt Melander hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kyle Davies to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, Kyle Davies recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roger Strömberg. Kyle Davies showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 61st minute Kyle Davies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Curacao booed when Fågelfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Myhr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Strömberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stanley Wallace went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Alexander Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Curacao booed when Fågelfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Erik Valler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Fågelfors IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kyle Davies fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Andreas Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folke Hellgren hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conny Valler's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. The Fågelfors IF manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Curacao to win.
