Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Gaona made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Atlético de Sagunto's Asdrubal Prieto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 4th minute, Marc Cucurull hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Zenon Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Atlético de Sagunto fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Atlético de Sagunto's Karlo Fuster looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karlo Fuster in the 13th minute. Zenon Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 15th minute of the match. Asdrubal Prieto kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zenon Suarez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Zenon Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 23rd minute of play forced Atlético de Sagunto's goalkeeper Zenon Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Facundo Cadaval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zenon Suarez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zenon Suarez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 33 minutes of play, Atlético de Sagunto's Karlo Fuster made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zenon Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 38th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grant Cabezon in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Saverio Avila recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Saverio Avila showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asdrubal Prieto to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Saverio Avila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd match minute, Atlético de Sagunto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frances Mangas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karlo Fuster in the 69th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asdrubal Prieto in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Asdrubal Prieto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético de Sagunto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. In the 86th minute, Grant Cabezon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karlo Fuster, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Zenon Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atlético de Sagunto were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mexico for a fine match.
