After 3 minutes of play, Lithuanian amber's Kęstutis Jakubauskas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Álmos Simon was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Szajk LC's zone, Adas Pleskūnas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álmos Simon came out of the goal and Adas Pleskūnas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kipras Gelžinis in the 7th minute of play forced Szajk LC's goalkeeper Álmos Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes Szajk LC got a freekick which was hit by István Tulipán. After a rather tough play, Lithuanian amber's Remigijus Damijonas got a free kick in the 14th minute. The supporters of Lithuanian amber booed when Szajk LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrián Vámosi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lithuanian amber's Aras Nutautas in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Szajk LC's goalie prevented a goal. Ąžuolas Laucius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ákos Szalontai, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kipras Gelžinis in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Álmos Simon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ákos Szalontai had several of the Lithuanian amber's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Ąžuolas Laucius as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 33rd match minute, Lithuanian amber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adas Pleskūnas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kęstutis Jakubauskas in the 40th minute of play forced Szajk LC's goalkeeper Álmos Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Kęstutis Jakubauskas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szajk LC's Álmos Simon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Kęstutis Jakubauskas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Álmos Simon was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kęstutis Jakubauskas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Tibor Lantos fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szajk LC's protests and gave Tibor Lantos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Szajk LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibor Lantos to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goalkeeper Álmos Simon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remigijus Damijonas. A collision led to Lithuanian amber getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Remigijus Damijonas hit a great ball. Adrián Vámosi kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Lithuanian amber got a freekick which was hit by Kipras Gelžinis. 91 minutes into the match, Lithuanian amber's Kipras Gelžinis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Álmos Simon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Szajk LC's Álmos Simon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Szajk LC from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szajk LC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Remigijus Damijonas was slow to take the kick. During this time Lithuanian amber's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Remigijus Damijonas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Álmos Simon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 95th match minute, Szajk LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balázs Kecskés to maneuver through the defense.
