When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, 鲁正风 took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 鲁正风 in the 63rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Ocampo during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, 倪阳西 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and 倪阳西 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 毛磊洲's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 庄政振 kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Honduras's Moises Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by 梅奕宇 in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. 梅奕宇 made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and 鲁正风 immediately put the ball in play. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, 高强延 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If 邓西青 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, 倪阳西 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 云南奇拿脱足球队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 倪阳西 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from 梅奕宇 in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. In the 92nd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 高强延 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 云南奇拿脱足球队 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
