Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yeadon United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. In the 8th minute, Christopher Buxton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Per-Olof Brovall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Mark Duff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yeadon United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yeadon United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Per-Olof Brovall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 35th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Yeadon United got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Nancy. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christopher Buxton in the 43rd minute. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 45th minute. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Yeadon United's Per-Olof Brovall did a great save. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Per-Olof Brovall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th of the match, Joel Gaona tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Per-Olof Brovall got in the way and made a wonderful save. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Per-Olof Brovall however easily saved by the left post. 59 minutes into the match, Videl Larrañaga notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 61st minute of play forced Yeadon United's goalkeeper Per-Olof Brovall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yeadon United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo scored to the left of an out of position Per-Olof Brovall, making the score, 1-3. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Milosz Pozorski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Olof Brovall made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Luca Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, Yeadon United's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Per-Olof Brovall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Olof Brovall made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yeadon United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Per-Olof Brovall had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Joel Gaona scored 2-4 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Per-Olof Brovall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 89th minute of play forced Yeadon United's goalkeeper Per-Olof Brovall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Per-Olof Brovall successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Luca Rouco advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-5 in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
