Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benedykt Siembab took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Moises Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Tafalla couldn't finish the play. 5 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Karol Kopacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karol Kopacz. Karol Kopacz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Karol Kopacz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Siembab, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karol Kopacz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gortaty's Grzegorz Wodaszak got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gortaty's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karol Kopacz came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Siembab in the 31st minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karol Kopacz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Espinar in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Gortaty getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Grzegorz Wodaszak hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Radowit Siedlecki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gortaty's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Gortaty:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Honduras:s goal. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Honduras. Edmundo Espiga stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Karol Kopacz. 0-3. In the 45th minute, Honduras's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benedykt Siembab fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 47 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Skrzypiec. After the first half Honduras were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Gortaty's Karol Kopacz got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Siembab, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Bartosz Chrzan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Espiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Karol Kopacz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Moises Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Benedykt Siembab hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The supporters of Honduras booed when Gortaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigiusz Kaczynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luca Espinar succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to get real power on a long shot . Gortaty's Karol Kopacz hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-5! Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartosz Chrzan in the 88th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karol Kopacz saved Gortaty from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karol Kopacz. Gortaty's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karol Kopacz saved Gortaty from getting behind. Honduras played a much better game than Gortaty and deserved their victory. The Gortaty players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
