Silviu Latarețu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. 23 minutes in the game Viorel Gurzău did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Iulian Nicorici. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Iacob Povară, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iacob Povară didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santino Seco went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Povară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a rather tough play, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Viorel Gurzău got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Iacob Povară had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. 62 minutes into the game, Viorel Gurzău threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 63rd minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Iacob Povară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iacob Povară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 67th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Povară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iacob Povară came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 74 minutes, Gheorghe Bociort made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nichifor Gugea got a throw-in 78 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Francisc Ciocoiu. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save F.C CLUJ MEDICINA from getting a goal against them. Luca Pancu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iacob Povară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Mastache in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iacob Povară saved F.C CLUJ MEDICINA from getting behind. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisc Ciocoiu in the 96th minute of play. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Colombia for a fine match.
