Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marquinhos Teixeira started the match with the kick off. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Bengt Bouchard sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 8th minute of the game was made by Hugo Ferrant with Lautaro Puig as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. FÊNIX F.C.'s Jailson Favoretto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Ferrant, made in the 9th minute of the game. FÊNIX F.C.'s attentive Marquinhos Teixeira managed to snatch the ball when Lautaro Puig made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Bengt Bouchard made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Juan Rubio made in the 18th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aaron Alcocer however managed to control. After having played for 23 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Puig might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damian Fetor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Puig ran back to his position shaking his head. Efrain Moruga's late challenge caught a FÊNIX F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Marquinhos Teixeira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, FÊNIX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but Damian Fetor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Puig in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Evaristo Martins fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benito Sanz, passed just outside the right post. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Bengt Bouchard sent off a good shot on target. FÊNIX F.C.'s attentive Kauã Moreno managed to snatch the ball when Juan Rubio made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. After 41 minutes of play, FÊNIX F.C.'s Bengt Bouchard made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. 53 minutes into the match, Kauã Moreno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kauã Moreno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. FÊNIX F.C.'s Evaristo Martins managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 65 minute of the game. The supporters of FÊNIX F.C. booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Lautaro Puig got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hugo Ferrant made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FÊNIX F.C.'s Kauã Moreno. In the 74th minute, Kauã Moreno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 77th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marquinhos Teixeira in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Kauã Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Moreno in the 83rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Bouchard in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Kauã Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Teixeira in the 94th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes FÊNIX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Ferraz. Axel Tasis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Teixeira in the 99th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FÊNIX F.C. fully deserved thier win.
