Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anthimos Sofos got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, FC GreenWhiteGreen's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Nedum Odunaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute Nwokeocha Limu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nedum Odunaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 6th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nedum Odunaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eriberto de Castro. FC GreenWhiteGreen's Nedum Odunaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Anthimos Sofos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nedum Odunaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nedum Odunaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Eriberto de Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nedum Odunaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Nedum Odunaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of play forced FC GreenWhiteGreen's goalkeeper Nedum Odunaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nedum Odunaro having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC GreenWhiteGreen's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nedum Odunaro came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC GreenWhiteGreen's Nedum Odunaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save FC GreenWhiteGreen from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Nedum Odunaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Nedum Odunaro in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eriberto de Castro in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Nedum Odunaro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 85th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC GreenWhiteGreen's goalie and right to Juan Sebastián Puig. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC GreenWhiteGreen's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Ishaku Obodoechi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC GreenWhiteGreen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ishaku Obodoechi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho.
