Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 巩志威 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Pihlberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgar Pihlberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. 巩志威 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Pihlberg in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of ☜新锐☞知行合一◤鲁◢ booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Espiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 巩志威 saved ☜新锐☞知行合一◤鲁◢ from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by 蒋沙思 in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Luca Espinar. In the 37th minute, ☜新锐☞知行合一◤鲁◢'s Edgar Pihlberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 蒋沙思 made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. When Edgar Pihlberg came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the ☜新锐☞知行合一◤鲁◢ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Pihlberg couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Edgar Pihlberg made the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Espiga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 51st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to ☜新锐☞知行合一◤鲁◢ getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. 姚德默 hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Edmundo Espiga scored 2-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 巩志威, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th of the match, Edmundo Espiga tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but 巩志威 got in the way and made a wonderful save. Edgar Pihlberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. The supporters of Honduras booed when ☜新锐☞知行合一◤鲁◢ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. 韩榕辉 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
