Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Manole Frunză scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-0. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Turcescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Negara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. In the 21st minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Negara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Rovine Craiova fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Rovine Craiova's Manole Frunză looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Victor Negara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play. After 32 minutes Rovine Craiova's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rovine Craiova's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41stth minute of the game Manole Frunză who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Rovine Craiova's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manole Frunză, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandru Tudorică in the 45th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Manole Frunză did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 48 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manole Frunză stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Frunză, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Frunză came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Alexandru Tudorică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rovine Craiova's Manole Frunză in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Victor Negara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Frunză, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandru Tudorică went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Turcescu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rovine Craiova's Marcel Turcescu. But to his dismay, Marcel Turcescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Negara having to interfere. Rovine Craiova's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
