Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Jyrki Saarelainen might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jyrki Saarelainen ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 13th minute of play forced Rovine Craiova's goalkeeper Victor Negara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manole Frunză went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Victor Negara came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 24 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Victor Negara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victor Negara in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Victor Negara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 45 minutes of play, Rovine Craiova's Jyrki Saarelainen made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Mexico were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jyrki Saarelainen made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Frunză in the 52nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Facundo Cadaval could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Victor Negara made a huge save. Victor Negara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Victor Negara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 65th minute of the match. Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Victor Negara was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Victor Negara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Negara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavius Simionescu kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Frunză, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Zorita did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-4 to the left of a surprised Victor Negara 87 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Jyrki Saarelainen came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rovine Craiova's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcu Vârjean in the 92nd minute. Rovine Craiova's Marcu Vârjean was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 94th minute, Gustaw Rasialdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Victor Negara in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
