Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Douglas de Souza got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Floresta Club U18 got a freekick which was hit by Endrik Edmundo. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Gilmar Castro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Tomé Reis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 12th play minute Douglas de Souza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 2-0. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Douglas de Souza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 19 in the game by Douglas de Souza from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. In the 28th minute, Douglas de Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Club U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Castro in the 30th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Douglas de Souza sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas de Souza came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Gilmar Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Floresta Club U18's Ruy da Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0.

When Douglas de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Floresta Club U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas de Souza couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilmar Castro scored 7-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute, Douglas de Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas de Souza in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 68 minutes into the game, Floresta Club U18's Douglas de Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Douglas de Souza sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Douglas de Souza put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Floresta Club U18's Vito Maia was substituted for Gilmar Castro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas de Souza in the 85th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Puig's late challenge caught a Floresta Club U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lautaro Puig helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Floresta Club U18 booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Maia came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas de Souza in the 96th minute of play. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
