If Leoverliz Rincon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pinto Cofresi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Eleazar in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Abraham Fitzgerald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pinto Cofresi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leoverliz Rincon made a kick off. With his leg Pinto Cofresi managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Toronto United's Rodolfo Eleazar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Toronto United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Güngör Yüce in the 53rd minute. In the 55thth minute of the game Lou Walker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SuperBarça's Pinto Cofresi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pinto Cofresi stood somewhat misplaced when Lou Walker came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 56 minute. After a rather tough play, SuperBarça's Jose-Antonio Holgado got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Pinto Cofresi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lou Walker in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Lou Walker reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pinto Cofresi. The goal made the score 1-6. The supporters of Toronto United booed when SuperBarça was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Teran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güngör Yüce shot from long distance in the 70th minute, but Pinto Cofresi was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. With a little luck, SuperBarça's Pinto Cofresi got control of the ball when Rodolfo Eleazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led to Toronto United's Rodolfo Eleazar getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Eleazar notched a goal, 1-9, to the right of SuperBarça's Pinto Cofresi. Pinto Cofresi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
