In the 3rd minute Valentine Corias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Zornoza's late challenge caught a Kõpu Dynamo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Zornoza helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hincha Pelotas FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Roman Zornoza hit a great ball. Valentine Corias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hincha Pelotas FC's Ismael Larrategui was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Telmo Valadares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 19th minute Hincha Pelotas FC were awarded a corner. Alvarez Pierredonda went to the cornerflag to take it. Hincha Pelotas FC's Alvarez Pierredonda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Telmo Valadares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kõpu Dynamo's Telmo Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Larrategui in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Valentine Corias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivari Veedla got free with Hendrik van Eijnde in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentine Corias in the 28th minute of play forced Kõpu Dynamo's goalkeeper Telmo Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes Kõpu Dynamo got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Klausen. With his leg Hendrik van Eijnde managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Kõpu Dynamo's Elmu Uusnurm fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Telmo Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentine Corias in the 38th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Urtsin Murueta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hendrik van Eijnde made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Robert Haupt sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ismael Larrategui to make the kick off. Ismael Larrategui who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Telmo Valadares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hendrik van Eijnde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Klausen, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The supporters of Kõpu Dynamo booed when Hincha Pelotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candelario Cortina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivari Veedla hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Kõpu Dynamo players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
