Los Espinillos FC's Marcus Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Los Espinillos FC from getting a goal against them. Marcus Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Otsoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jimeno Gumaro came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Los Espinillos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Gumaro couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Los Espinillos FC's goalkeeper Marcus Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beat Kellenberger. Marcus Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Brion in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Claudio Barrionuevo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezequiel Centurión showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcus Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Poling in the 30th minute of play. The nice shot from Beat Kellenberger in the 33rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Marcus Silva had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Benedykt Poling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Marcus Silva made a huge save. In the 39th minute Zula Munko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Centurión saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match Los Espinillos FC got a corner. Divorciados FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claudio Barrionuevo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Claudio Barrionuevo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ezequiel Centurión quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Beat Kellenberger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Marcus Silva made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Fabricio Otsoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcus Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Manuelo in the 53rd minute of the match. Claudio Barrionuevo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ezequiel Centurión made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimeno Gumaro in the 62nd minute. After 65 played minutes Divorciados FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Fernanco. 67 minutes into the game, Los Espinillos FC's Zula Munko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ezequiel Centurión made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Los Espinillos FC's Zula Munko got a free kick in the 70th minute. Divorciados FC's Beat Kellenberger got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Jimeno Gumaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Espinillos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Gumaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Centurión breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Beila kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Barrionuevo got free with Ezequiel Centurión in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zula Munko in the 82nd minute of play forced Divorciados FC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Centurión to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Luis Orlondon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beat Kellenberger struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Marcus Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Divorciados FC. A collision led to Divorciados FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fernando Brion hit a great ball. In the 90th match minute, Los Espinillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Gumaro to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Brion in the 92nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Los Espinillos FC's Ezequiel Centurión threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zula Munko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Los Espinillos FC's zone, Benedykt Poling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Silva came out of the goal and Benedykt Poling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Espinillos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
