In the 16th minute, Ismael Larrategui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoel Galarza in the 18th minute of play forced Hincha Pelotas FC's goalkeeper Hendrik van Eijnde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Ismael Larrategui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xosepe Orgaz was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Pxnda SC's Xosepe Orgaz got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Ismael Larrategui made a precise shot to the right of Xavion Ponga. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Ismael Larrategui sped through Pxnda SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xavion Ponga. Hincha Pelotas FC's Mathías Guevara was substituted for Valentine Corias.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugenio Cobian to make the kick off. Xavion Ponga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Larrategui, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ismael Larrategui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Xavion Ponga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pxnda SC's goalkeeper Xavion Ponga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Mathías Guevara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 68th minute, Urtsin Murueta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Yoel Galarza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ismael Larrategui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xose Movilla hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Yoel Galarza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hendrik van Eijnde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Pxnda SC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Diego Manso hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Ismael Larrategui put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Xavion Ponga. In the 94th minute Ismael Larrategui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavion Ponga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xavion Ponga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Larrategui, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Xavion Ponga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathías Guevara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Hincha Pelotas FC were the better team. Hincha Pelotas FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
