Beat Kellenberger received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pinto Cofresi came out and tried to block the shot, but Beat Kellenberger slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. Pinto Cofresi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabricio Otsoa in the 15th minute. Samuel Teran took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ezequiel Centurión. Ezequiel Centurión dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Pinto Cofresi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beat Kellenberger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Divorciados FC booed when SuperBarça was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Murguiondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pinto Cofresi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Otsoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Pinto Cofresi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beat Kellenberger in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute Beat Kellenberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pinto Cofresi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SuperBarça's Jose-Antonio Holgado got a free kick in the 36th minute. Ezequiel Centurión came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by SuperBarça's Samuel Teran. But to his dismay, Samuel Teran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 47th minute, Samuel Teran made a precise shot to the right of Ezequiel Centurión. Divorciados FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuel Teran to make the kick off. Pinto Cofresi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Otsoa in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Otsoa in the 58th minute of play forced SuperBarça's goalkeeper Pinto Cofresi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SuperBarça's Pinto Cofresi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Vergaray in the 75th minute of play. Cornelio Rudolfo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match.
