Nutridal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Fitzgerald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 18th minute Rodolfo Eleazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Pabon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Nutridal FC defense, Abraham Fitzgerald kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Pabon. The Nutridal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Pabon should have stopped the shot. Daniel Pabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Fitzgerald, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some careless play in the Nutridal FC defense, Abraham Fitzgerald kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Pabon. The Nutridal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Pabon should have stopped the shot. Kauã Paranaense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Pendones in the 28th minute. The corner led Nutridal FC's Mora Maldonado to fire away a dangerous shot which Kauã Paranaense despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rodolfo Eleazar kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Daniel Pabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Fitzgerald, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Mora Maldonado fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nutridal FC's protests and gave Mora Maldonado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Nutridal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mora Maldonado to maneuver through the defense. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lou Walker to make the kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Lou Walker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nutridal FC's Daniel Pabon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lou Walker got free with Daniel Pabon in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nutridal FC's Daniel Pabon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Nutridal FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Toronto United booed when Nutridal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Ascot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lou Walker took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Pabon. Daniel Pabon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Eleazar got free with Daniel Pabon in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abraham Fitzgerald took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Pabon. Daniel Pabon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. With a little luck, Nutridal FC's Daniel Pabon got control of the ball when Rodolfo Eleazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nutridal FC's Mora Maldonado got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Mora Maldonado off the ground. In the 94th minute, Rodolfo Eleazar made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Pabon. Nutridal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. Toronto United played a much better game than Nutridal FC and deserved their victory. The Nutridal FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
