Pital's Xzavier Bedes got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dinei Fernandez took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogelio Vasco. Rogelio Vasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Dinei Fernandez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rogelio Vasco, 2-0. Edoardo Pascucci scored 3-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogelio Vasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Dinei Fernandez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogelio Vasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 23 minutes in the game, Edoardo Pascucci fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rogelio Vasco having to interfere. After some careless play in the Pital defense, Dinei Fernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Vasco. The Pital fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Vasco should have stopped the shot. Rogelio Vasco didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Merceron United's Edoardo Pascucci shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Dinei Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merceron United's Dave Giacomozzi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Xzavion Abechuco in the 46 minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urtun Tubia to make the kick off. Rogelio Vasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Pascucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urtun Tubia in the 62nd minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Daniele Bucciarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Edoardo Pascucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pital's Dennis Botas was substituted for Fiallos Barranco. The supporters of Pital booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Catapano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Alberto Lusi notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Pital's Rogelio Vasco. Rogelio Vasco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Merceron United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
