When Almandoz Caseda fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SuperBarça's protests and gave Almandoz Caseda a yellow card for diving instead. Almandoz Caseda hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Merceron United's Dinei Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pinto Cofresi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinei Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli got control of the ball when Samuel Teran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Teran in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniele Bucciarelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oswaldo Murguiondo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Daniele Bucciarelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SuperBarça. In the 18th minute, Dinei Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuel Terans short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Daniele Bucciarelli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Samuel Teran in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. SuperBarça's Pinto Cofresi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Fernandez in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by SuperBarça's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Milosz Waselenczuk was slow to take the kick. During this time Merceron United's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SuperBarça's goalie and right to Jan Gamza. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SuperBarça's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 36 minutes into the match, SuperBarça's goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Pascucci came free, but Pinto Cofresi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Murguiondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SuperBarça's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merceron United the free kick. Pinto Cofresi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Pascucci in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute of the match Merceron United got a corner. SuperBarça's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Milosz Waselenczuk ran over to the corner to take the kick. The SuperBarça players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Merceron United were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Dinei Fernandez made the kick off in the second half. Edoardo Pascucci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pinto Cofresi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. The Merceron United fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Merceron United's Edoardo Pascucci looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Merceron United's Dinei Fernandez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pinto Cofresi. That made the score 0-4 after 69 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinei Fernandez in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pinto Cofresi saved SuperBarça from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dinei Fernandez in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Merceron United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
