The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pan Yan Rong in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Pan Yan Rong sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pan Yan Rong in the 23rd minute. Pan Yan Rong did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 29 minutes into the match. Säfvahöjden's Nolberto Solano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Chicote in the 31 minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pan Yan Rong in the 35th minute. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Tomas Illescas put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hector Casse. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pan Yan Rong in the 57th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Säfvahöjden.
