The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filip Soetemans to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Lauaxeta in the 51st minute of the match. 胡坚战 was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. Filip Soetemans was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 胡坚战 came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Soetemans in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Fenerbahce ISTANBUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
