In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bordo Mavi's goalkeeper Aytaç Dilsafa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yahya Kemal Özender made in the 7th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Recep Talha Eraltay. 8 minutes into the match, Bordo Mavi's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Figueroa came free, but Aytaç Dilsafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aytaç Dilsafa having to make a save. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th minute, Mariano Lacasa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bordo Mavi's Aytaç Dilsafa didn't even have to move. In the 17th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Aytaç Dilsafa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aytaç Dilsafa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Yahya Kemal Özender made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Gerardo Pozo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho Branco in the 34th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Bordo Mavi's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Aytaç Dilsafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Alan Tamayo. 42 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Bordo Mavi's Aytaç Dilsafa. Aytaç Dilsafa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 47 played minutes Bordo Mavi got a freekick which was hit by Bekir Zühtü. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Mircea Chircu made the kick off in the second half. Aytaç Dilsafa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 51st minute. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Chircu in the 54th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Chircu in the 55th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Aytaç Dilsafa made a huge save. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aytaç Dilsafa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. The corner ended in Mariano Lacasa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bordo Mavi's Aytaç Dilsafa did a great save. 68 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aytaç Dilsafa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aytaç Dilsafa having to make a save. In the 74th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytaç Dilsafa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 93rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytaç Dilsafa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
