Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Shed End's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Hedkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 4 minutes FC Shed End's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Antonio Arias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig-Ove Hedkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aykutalp Ezgü in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Aykutalp Ezgü stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Aykutalp Ezgü tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 16th minute. 24 minutes into the match, FC Shed End's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Stig-Ove Hedkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stig-Ove Hedkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after FC Shed End's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The supporters of FC Shed End booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Ove Hedkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stig-Ove Hedkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 35thth minute of the game Aykutalp Ezgü who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aykutalp Ezgü who took care of the corner kick. In the 38th minute, Gustav Wållander reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-3. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Stig-Ove Hedkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aykutalp Ezgü made a great header on FC Shed End's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Stig-Ove Hedkvist made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, FC Shed End's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Hedkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Stig-Ove Hedkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Stig-Ove Hedkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute of play. FC Shed End's Nigg Erek was substituted for Gustav Wållander. 80 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Gar came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Gar struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Shed End. A hard shot 94 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented Stig-Ove Hedkvist managed to make a qualified save. FC Shed End's players were relieved. In the 95th minute Luka Langoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
