Hendrik van Eijnde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Alphonse in the 22nd minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by León Onez in the 88th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
