Muhammad Chan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceyhan Celvet, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Golden Dragón F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alan Petersen in the 30th minute. Golden Dragón F.C's Emmanuel Vasco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Muhammad Chan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Muhammad Chan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceyhan Celvet in the 32nd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Ceyhan Celvet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Muhammad Chan. Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ceyhan Celvet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 43 minutes into the game, Ceyhan Celvet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Muhammad Chan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Muhammad Chan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ceyhan Celvet went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After the first half Golden Dragón F.C were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Wen Ke Yan took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilario Pesquera. Hilario Pesquera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Golden Dragón F.C's Dario Betzanos was substituted for Ceyhan Celvet. In the 69th match minute, Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Hilario Pesquera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Siong in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Golden Dragón F.C's Modris Pavējš got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute Modris Pavējš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudy Chandran made in the 82nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Claudinei Damião immediately put the ball in play. Muhammad Chan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camerino Luey, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The supporters of Golden Dragón F.C booed when Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Dario Betzanos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Dragón F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Betzanos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Golden Dragón F.C's Hilario Pesquera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Damião in the 90th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cláudio Botelho in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilario Pesquera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's Dario Betzanos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Muhammad Chan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Emmanuel Vasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Golden Dragón F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
