Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rdth minute of the game Merexildo Raimundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merexildo Raimundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute GREEN LIONS were awarded a corner. Jorge Peredo went to the cornerflag to take it. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Merexildo Raimundo in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 18th minute. Jorge Peredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 minutes, Merexildo Raimundo made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tolis Prinianakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Peredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When 袁棋荣 came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the GREEN LIONS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 袁棋荣 couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, GREEN LIONS's Merexildo Raimundo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Jorge Peredo took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Merexildo Raimundo made a kick off. The supporters of GREEN LIONS booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Secada didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 minutes, Merexildo Raimundo made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Peredo in the 60th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Peredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calisto Flayre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Merexildo Raimundo took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 74th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Tolis Prinianakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Tolis Prinianakis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a GREEN LIONS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merexildo Raimundo in the 88th minute of play. Tolis Prinianakis made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. GREEN LIONS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
