Claes Caspersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes Cheetah Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Claes Caspersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Claes Caspersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. A collision led to Cheetah Team getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Egon Ahlbom hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claes Caspersson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fredrik Fors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claes Caspersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Mellin in the 31st minute of play. Egon Ahlbom kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Fredrik Fors sent off a good shot on target. Fredrik Fors who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cheetah Team's Fredrik Fors came free and shot a quick shot against goal 35 minutes in the game, fortunately Jonathan Ferrant had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Claes Caspersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cheetah Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Mellin in the 45th minute of play. Valter Mellin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Fredrik Fors charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredrik Fors the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claes Caspersson made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Cheetah Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cheetah Team's Claes Caspersson did a great save. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Cheetah Team's Claes Caspersson managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 61st minute, Tomas Illescas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claes Caspersson. The goal made the score 0-1. Claes Caspersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Cheetah Team's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Caspersson came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Chicote in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cheetah Team's Egon Ahlbom. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cheetah Team's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Caspersson came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Venezuela walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
