An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 13th minute of play forced OMONOIA's goalkeeper Timmy Standaerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timmy Standaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Timmy Standaerts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 27 minutes into the match, OMONOIA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Timmy Standaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timmy Standaerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timmy Standaerts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Matias Araújo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. OMONOIA's Timmy Standaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. Timmy Standaerts came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to OMONOIA getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Seilenos Chrysanthopoulos hit a great ball. The OMONOIA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Araújo was the one to do the kick off. If Matias Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Matias Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Matias Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Araújo in the 59th minute of the match. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Timmy Standaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Araújo in the 63rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Timmy Standaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Timmy Standaerts made a huge save. 曹骋川 charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 曹骋川 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes OMONOIA got a freekick which was hit by 曹骋川. In the 74th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 78 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Araújo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, OMONOIA's Timmy Standaerts got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Timmy Standaerts made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Timmy Standaerts. The goal made the score 1-4. A sloppy throw-in by Primitivo Andino in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by OMONOIA's Nikos Koulouris. Primitivo Andino made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montenegro. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than OMONOIA.
