After 5 played minutes BoondockSaints FC got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Marković. Radisav Šljivić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radisav Šljivić. Radisav Šljivić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, BoondockSaints FC's Aleksandar Vujanović dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Radisav Šljivić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute. The corner led Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig to a score. 1-2 in the 22nd minute. Danilo Marković kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radisav Šljivić skillfully saved the ball. After 34 minutes BoondockSaints FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 played minutes BoondockSaints FC got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Marković. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ranđel Radojčić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Radisav Šljivić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Andino in the 51st minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksandar Vujanović in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in BoondockSaints FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radisav Šljivić came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BoondockSaints FC! 1-3 came through a penalty shot after 56 played minutes, when Ecuador:s Daniel Zorita calmly waited for BoondockSaints FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. The audience was convinced that Ranđel Radojčić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by BoondockSaints FC's Aleksandar Vujanović. But to his dismay, Aleksandar Vujanović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 69th minute, Toplica Sarić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute, BoondockSaints FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toplica Sarić to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the BoondockSaints FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radisav Šljivić. The BoondockSaints FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radisav Šljivić should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ranđel Radojčić in the 75th minute of play. BoondockSaints FC's Gradimir Gudelj was substituted for Aleksandar Vujanović. A nice corner shot did that Timmie Zijlstra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, BoondockSaints FC's Danilo Marković got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Gradimir Gudelj spun around in front of the goal 85 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Ecuador's goal. Ranđel Radojčić hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
