Thomás Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thomás Hoffmann quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 19 minutes into the game, Rastko Santrač cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mangekyou Sharingan's Thomás Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Mangekyou Sharingan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sreten Aleksov to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Mangekyou Sharingan's Barnaba Hodas got a free kick in the 29th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Mangekyou Sharingan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vukašin Jeremić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mangekyou Sharingan were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rastko Santrač took the corner. After taking down the ball on Mangekyou Sharingan's corner Rastko Santrač fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Thomás Hoffmann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 76 minute of play. Rastko Santrač sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
