Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdülhak Tanyolaç in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Epifanio Mitxaut got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 6-0. 72 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Venezuela's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 78th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Haydar Sahir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
