Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, RESISTIR SC's Zarando Puente got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute Felix Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Boni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Boni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, Andris De Meulder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RESISTIR SC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to RESISTIR SC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Andris De Meulder hit a great ball. Isidro Boni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidro Boni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Sayvion Esoin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. RESISTIR SC's Isidro Boni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izel Guill in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to RESISTIR SC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Belasko Espiga hit a great ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Juan Sebastián Puig notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of RESISTIR SC's Isidro Boni. Isidro Boni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 39 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the RESISTIR SC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidro Boni. The RESISTIR SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidro Boni should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. With a little luck, RESISTIR SC's Isidro Boni got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isidro Boni. Isidro Boni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. RESISTIR SC's Isidro Boni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save RESISTIR SC from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Isidro Boni made a huge save. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. With a little luck, RESISTIR SC's Isidro Boni got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Izel Guill was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Isidro Boni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, RESISTIR SC's goalkeeper Isidro Boni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Boni having to interfere. Isidro Boni didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Isidro Boni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The RESISTIR SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
