With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Guillelmus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, F. C. Solitario's goalkeeper Tiburcio Ereinotz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis Andreozzi. Domenico Marchetti took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauricio Guillelmus. Mauricio Guillelmus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With his leg Tiburcio Ereinotz managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Leones Futbol Club's Lázaro Berdoi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. F. C. Solitario's Celso Gaitano got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Leones Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Legg came free, but Mauricio Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leones Futbol Club's Mauricio Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Legg in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Astor Cesaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauricio Guillelmus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dennis Andreozzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiburcio Ereinotz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dennis Andreozzi ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Gaitano in the 39th minute of play forced Leones Futbol Club's goalkeeper Mauricio Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Guillelmus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celso Gaitano's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Celso Gaitano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mauricio Guillelmus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ernest Legg made the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Legg, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Thomas Vollmar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Vollmar came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mauricio Guillelmus could save by the left post. Tiburcio Ereinotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Berdoi in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Thomas Vollmar made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Guillelmus. Leones Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Tiburcio Ereinotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Berdoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiburcio Ereinotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Berdoi in the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Enzo Guerriero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Leones Futbol Club getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Enzo Guerriero hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Dennis Andreozzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauricio Guillelmus came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by F. C. Solitario's Ernest Legg. But to his dismay, Ernest Legg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. If Lázaro Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Iraunkor hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Dennis Andreozzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tiburcio Ereinotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Guillelmus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernest Legg in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Dennis Andreozzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leones Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. With a little luck, Leones Futbol Club's Mauricio Guillelmus got control of the ball when Ernest Legg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Celso Gaitano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauricio Guillelmus was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5.
