Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alastair Moody, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Trenel AFC's Alastair Moody. But to his dismay, Alastair Moody quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Celedonio Frascuelo made a great header on Trenel AFC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 21st minute, Alberto Montanari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the game, Alberto Misael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trenel AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 23 played minutes Trenel AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Misael. Alastair Moody received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trenel AFC's Arnoldo Sandalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnoldo Sandalio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Trenel AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Arnoldo Sandalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Alastair Moody scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-0. After 41 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. After 44 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Alastair Moody kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a good free kick, Alastair Moody got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Ecuador. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alastair Moody to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Alastair Moody's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Timoteo Matro charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timoteo Matro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, Timoteo Matro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timoteo Matro kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Arnoldo Sandalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Sandalio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 63rd minute. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Arnoldo Sandalio threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arnoldo Sandalio made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Ubaldo Taurino kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alastair Moody, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnoldo Sandalio made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Alberto Misael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Trenel AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Argoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnoldo Sandalio. Arnoldo Sandalio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Trenel AFC had won after a very even match.
