Gustavo Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute of the match, Albertinho de Amaral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mexico's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lilian Vântu 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lilian Vântu in the 23rd minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lilian Vântu in the 25th minute of play. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Gustavo Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lilian Vântu in the 41st minute of play. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Célio Maranhense got free with Dante Lacasa in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Jacaré in the 48th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emerson Jacaré to strike the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gustavo Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xurupita FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. 73 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho de Amaral came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gustavo Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emerson Jacaré went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Xurupita FC made a substitution. Christian Lima replaced Lilian Vântu. Gustavo Coelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 80th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 82 minutes, Christian Lima made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but Xurupita FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
