In the 12th minute of the match AFC FUSION got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dawid Beckham ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Dawid Beckham almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. 16 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Eztebe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christoff Stocks got free with Julio Vera in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute of the match AFC FUSION got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dawid Beckham ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Dawid Beckham got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After 36 minutes AFC FUSION's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Cristian Sancho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 after 40 minutes of play. In the 43rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Abilio.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Rios to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Lino Rios who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 56th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Roberto Eztebe made a huge save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Eztebe having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Paul Vase kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Lino Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because AFC FUSION had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
