Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When AFC FUSION's Lino Rios in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lino Rios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 12th minute, Lino Rios made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Lino Rios cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Lino Rios dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 3-0. In the 33rd minute AFC FUSION were awarded a corner. Dawid Beckham went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on AFC FUSION's corner Dawid Beckham fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute Lino Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Sesuldo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Bettencourt in the 57th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Sesuldo made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. In the 62nd minute, Lino Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lino Rios scored 4-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Salvador Gisbert in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AFC FUSION's Mario Sesuldo. When Mario Sesuldo fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC FUSION's protests and gave Mario Sesuldo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aureliano Karlo took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 92nd minute, Aureliano Karlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
