Ding Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ding Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Xpertin's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Ding Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ding Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 19th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute. Antonio Arias was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Mo took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 26th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 32 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Xpertin's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Ding Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Mo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Xpertin's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ding Kahn came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Máximo Paetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rollo Lukey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Xpertin's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Ding Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ding Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ding Kahn in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Xpertin's goalkeeper Ding Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Li Sen Ling in the 67th minute of play. Ding Kahn made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ding Kahn. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of play forced Club Deportivo Xpertin's goalkeeper Ding Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ding Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Xpertin's Li Sen Ling got a free kick in the 79th minute. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Xpertin's Ding Kahn got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 86 minutes, Duardo Pascuala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Xpertin and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ding Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
