With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermann Hesse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heitor Paim Belluci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olly Morgan in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute Deportivo Popolizio FBC were awarded a corner. Cris Ronaldo went to the cornerflag to take it. Hermann Hesse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Barros Rosa in the 15th minute of the match. Hermann Hesse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Barros Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18thth minute of the game Murilo Barros Rosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Olly Morgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heitor Paim Belluci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heitor Paim Belluci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torbjørn Trondsen's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 32nd minute, Murilo Barros Rosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brazil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 36th minute Diogo Paim Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olly Morgan made a kick off. In the 51st minute Diogo Paim Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diogo Paim Macedo got free with Hermann Hesse in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brazil's Alexandre Paz Rocha was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Nils Gielis was substituted for Olly Morgan. Heitor Paim Belluci came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Bartolo Basualdo. But to his dismay, Bartolo Basualdo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Paz Rocha got free with Hermann Hesse in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Heitor Paim Belluci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Basualdo in the 66th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Aguiar Farias came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermann Hesse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Aguiar Farias in the 73rd minute of the match. Hermann Hesse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Macedo Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Adriano Macedo Sanches's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermann Hesse was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Rafael Machado Cardoso made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Murilo Bueno Lobo. Hermann Hesse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Bueno Lobo in the 92nd minute of play. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Gaizkine Ibern got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brazil's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
