Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oliver Bierhoff kicked off to start the match. ADM Taquaras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Malcolm Westerberg in the 6th minute. A nice corner shot did that Malcolm Westerberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 8th minute, Oliver Bierhoff reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Day. The goal made the score 1-0. The audience was convinced that Oliver Bierhoff's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 15th minute of play. In the 21st minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oliver Bierhoff showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, USA's Monty Rogers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremias Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Bierhoff in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save ADM Taquaras from getting a goal against them. Celsinho Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bierhoff came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ADM Taquaras players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
