Aron Rainea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Banaszak, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. XSX F.C.'s Aron Rainea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Banaszak in the 9th minute of play. When Luiz Paulo Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the XSX F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Paulo Domingues couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute, Duda Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 13 minutes, Roland Banaszak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merengue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Banaszak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aron Rainea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darwin Núñez in the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Banaszak in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Rainea saved XSX F.C. from getting behind. Ernesto Rooney who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Mateo Llorienzo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute Darwin Núñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Rainea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Merengue FC were awarded a corner. Edelmiro Quintyn went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Edelmiro Quintyn got away a dangerous shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roland Banaszak to strike the kick off in the second half. After 64 played minutes XSX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Lizewski. After having played for 66 minutes, Ismael Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merengue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Frances was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Stasio Lizewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. XSX F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merengue FC the free kick. A collision led to XSX F.C. getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Stasio Lizewski hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Merengue FC's Raimundo Gonsalvo in action when he in the 69th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Balesio Arraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute, Domingo Jago reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aron Rainea. The goal made the score 0-2. Roland Banaszak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Aron Rainea made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darwin Núñez got free with Aron Rainea in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, XSX F.C.'s Balesio Arraz got a free kick in the 89th minute. Darwin Núñez took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Rainea. Aron Rainea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When the match was over Merengue FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than XSX F.C. throughout the match.
