In the 23rd minute Levent Hicran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauã Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Mauro A Mare FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dinu Dobre in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, San Mauro A Mare FC's Levent Hicran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kauã Paranaense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Toronto United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dinu Dobre was slow to take the kick. During this time San Mauro A Mare FC's players had a chance to rest. Toronto United's Kauã Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levent Hicran in the 32nd minute of play. Kauã Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levent Hicran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Levent Hicran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kauã Paranaense having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levent Hicran in the 40th minute of play forced Toronto United's goalkeeper Kauã Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Toronto United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dinu Dobre was slow to take the kick. During this time San Mauro A Mare FC's players had a chance to rest. Levent Hicran took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kauã Paranaense. Kauã Paranaense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Francesco Cremonese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Toronto United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Mauro A Mare FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lou Walker to make the kick off. Kauã Paranaense came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by San Mauro A Mare FC's Levent Hicran. But to his dismay, Levent Hicran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. San Mauro A Mare FC made a substitution. Augusto Riso replaced Francesco Cremonese. After 63 played minutes San Mauro A Mare FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Graziani. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Gong Bin Ming put in a rough tackle. San Mauro A Mare FC's Alex Orsi was substituted for Levent Hicran. In the 65th minute, one of Toronto United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Toronto United. In the 68th minute, San Mauro A Mare FC got a penalty, and Dinu Dobre placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Kauã Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Orsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Orsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Alex Orsi managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Mauro A Mare FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Orsi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kauã Paranaense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus Hastings hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Alex Orsi scored 0-5 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kauã Paranaense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Alex Orsi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Alex Orsi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kauã Paranaense. Toronto United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Orsi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Orsi in the 98th minute of play forced Toronto United's goalkeeper Kauã Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Mauro A Mare FC's Augusto Graziani was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kauã Paranaense in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. San Mauro A Mare FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
